BDA "Solo Row" Dinner and Pub Night

Our guest of honour, will be John Beeden.  Many of you will have followed his solo row across the Atlantic Ocean, earlier this year.  This Burlington area resident attracted world-wide attention when he completed one of the fastest rows on record.  His presentation will highlight his motivation, training methods and how he dealt with the obstacles that he faced.  This will be your opportunity to experience how one man decided to challenge himself and with fierce determination, saw that personal challenge through to the end (safely!)  People interested in personal fitness will want to hear just how he prepared himself.

 Of course, a presentation focussing on challenge and endurance, wouldn’t be complete without a gourmet meal and fine wine.  Our host Ed Catley, has prepared another fine menu  for our delectation.
