      Angels After Dark, First United Methodist Church

      WHAT: “Angels After Dark,” a Holiday Shopping Event!
      Thousands of one-of-a-kind gift items.

      40 local and national artisans and importers.

      Merchandise ranging from clothing, jewelry, and handbags to stationery and home accessories – even culinary delights.

      Something for every size wallet and everyone on your shopping list, from babies and brides, to friends and family, to teachers and teens (and of course, yours truly!)

      Silent Auction: Renaissance Vinoy Resort and Golf Club, The Florida Orchestra, American Stage, MD Skin Effects, Busch Gardens, Ron-O’Neal The Family Dentist, Spa pampering from Tranquility Day Spa, and more!

      Kahwa Coffee (free lattes and cappuccinos from 9am to 1pm) and Refreshments so you don’t have to shop on an empty stomach.

      Complimentary secured childcare from 9am to 12 noon with reading, art, and movie stations. Leave your child, cell phone number, and worries with us while you shop ‘til you drop.

      WHO: Sponsored by the Children’s Ministry of First United Methodist Church, “Angels After Dark” is organized exclusively through the efforts of volunteers (Angels) who do most of their planning after they put their kids to bed (After Dark).
      WHY: Proceeds from the event support the Children’s Ministry of First United Methodist Church which benefits more than 300 children in the community. Outreach efforts include providing school supplies for disadvantaged children as well as donations to area shelters, children’s homes and charities, the St. Petersburg Clinic, Help-A-Child, Habitat for Humanity, the Salvation Army, and Kenyan Clinic.
