The good times just got even better with the concert announcement of country superstar, Alan Jackson with special guest George Canyon at the South Okanagan Events Centre on November 14th at 7:30 PM.
Tickets are $85 and $95* and go on sale Friday, June 12 at 10 a.m. exclusively through ValleyFirstTIX.com, the South Okanagan Events Centre Box Office, the Wine Country Visitors Centre or charge by phone at 1-877-763-2849. (*additional service charges apply)
Throughout his career, Alan Jackson has sold more than 50 million albums and produced over 30 Number One hits. Some of his most well-known songs include “Don’t Rock the Jukebox”, “Chattahoochee”, “Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning)”, and “It’s 5 O’Clock Somewhere”. Jackson continues to produce number one hits with singles “Small Town Southern Man”, “Good Time,” and “Country Boy” all from his most recent album also entitled “Good Time.” The hit album, released last year, debuted at the top of country and pop sales charts the week it was released. Alan Jackson
Through the '80s and '90s, Alan Jackson quietly worked to become one of the most popular modern honky tonkers of his era. Born in Newnan, Georgia, as a youth he sang gospel music in church and at home. As a teen, he sang at parties and choirs in a country duo. Jackson left school to sell cars and later work in construction; At the age of 20, he only gradually began to perform music professionally, first by sitting in with other musicians and then by starting his own band, Dixie Steel, with whom he played the local club circuit.
