Description
Join Expats Paris members and Hobo In Paris readers for another Grub Hub dinner on Friday, March 28. This time we'll be going to Thailand. We'll be at what some people consider to be the best Thai restaurant in the whole of the 11th arrondissement, Khun Akorn, located at 8, ave. de Taillebourg, at 8:00 pm. We'll be reviewing Khun Akorn for the "Grub Hub" restaurant review column on Hobo In Paris, so come along to rave or complain and we'll scribble it all down on a napkin so selected bits and pieces of your praise and/or criticism make it into print, right there for the whole world to see at hoboinparis.com. Come expand your vocabulary with the Coynes and their friends. Learn, for example, not to say "the food looked good" and instead be a fake journalist like us and say "the offering was exquisitely presented." For more on this highly-questionable new form of collectively-written restaurant reviews, check out the Grub Hub Club on InterNations. If you're not already on the bandwagon, register (for free) at www.internations.org/paris and then click on "Groups" to find the Grub Hub Club. For the record, as I said last time, there are two great advantages to this kind of restaurant review, both of which are 100% hobo. First, you order a bunch of different kinds of food that we examine under a kaleidoscope, smell right up close and maybe even take a bite of, saving me thousands of baht. Second, you write the review for us so that Mollie doesn't have to, saving her lots of time. This is the highly-efficient pseudo-quasi-faux-journalism that you have come to expect from Hobo In Paris (who else do you know who has won a Pulitzer in less than six months?) Incidentally, there are no advantages for you, but I think you'll come anyway. Plenty of fairly convenient (and oddly-named) Metro stations to choose from: Avron, Buzenvel and Nation. See you there! When: Friday, March 28, at 8:00 pm Where: Khun Akorn 8 ave. de Taillebourg Any questions or problems, just email me at andy@expatsparis.com or call me on my cell at 06 21 91 39 18.
