Description
Dr. Shirley Yee is a Professor of Women's Studies at the University of Washington, and is the author of the book Black Women Abolitionists: A Study in Activism, published by the University of Tennessee Press in 1992. Prof. Yee will talk about the relationship between black women abolitionist and Quakers. She also teaches in the History Department and the Department of Ethnic Studies.
