The mission of the Design-Build Institute of America is to -Achieve and maintain recognition as the industry center of expertise for design-build practice. -Lead the expansion of design-build utilization across all industries and markets. Developing and maintaining our transportation infrastructure is an integral part of the countrys livelihood. DBIAs 2010 Design-Build for Transportation Conference will bring together transportation planners, economic development professionals, state agency representatives, contractors and other stakeholders from around the country for 2 days of learning of new and noteworthy practices, networking with peers and hearing about emerging issues in design-build as it pertains to roads, ports, airports and rails.
