11/16 : Escape the Fate, Abandon The Shore, Forever Ends Today

On Monday, November 16, Mike Thrasher Presents welcomes Escape the Fate, Abandon the Shore and Forever Ends Today.

With an uncanny ability to always land on their feet, notorious Vegas rock group Escape the Fate have begun writing and recording with a spectacular new singer and a superstar producer. With John Feldmann (the Used, Story of the Year) lending his talents as both producer and songwriter, and with the addition of singer Craig Mabbit, formerly of Bless the Fall, Escape the Fate are on track to make an even more amazing record than their stellar 2006 debut.

Following the departure of singer Ronnie Radke in early 2008, the band performed a handful of shows with Mabbit, and the personal and creative connection was immediate. A fan of both ETF and Mabbit, Feldmann was the natural choice to produce, and in April, Escape the Fate began recording the follow-up to 2006's Dying Is Your Latest Fashion, which featured the massive hit song "Situations .

"People are going to be blown away and definitely surprised when they hear Craig's vocals mixed with Escape's diverse sound," explains bassist Max Green. "This is the next generation of rock."

After Radke's dramatic departure, wild speculation spread regarding the future direction of Escape the Fate. Fans can breathe a sigh of relief: the turmoil has left the band even more determined and fired up.

"We took all that anger, frustration and sadness and molded it into an album with huge rock choruses, in your face riffs and melodies, and drums that will give your parents a heart attack," explains Green.

"I'm excited to have the opportunity to continue making music with a group of amazing people," says Mabbit. "Escape the Fate is taking over the world, so buckle your seat belts 'cause we're here to stay."

Abandon the Shore has gained a significant amount of notoriety in the Oregon scene as a hardcore fusion band mixing in elements of reggae and jazz that you can't help but get up and dance to. Hailing from the Oregon coast town that was named the #1 retirement community in America by USA Today, the members of Abandon the Shore want nothing more than to Abandon the Shore. And they have done just that. They've caught the attention of Bring Me Royalty artist management who was worked with Gwen Stacy, 1997 and In:Aviate. Bring Me Royalty had this to say upon the band joining its management team:

"Abandon the Shore has caught our attention by their hardcore sound mixed with different sounds that are even jazzy at times. A band that is willing to be a little different but won't stray too far from their initial sound."

The band plans on recording a new EP in December and hitting the road extensively to support their upcoming release.

Young but passionate about what they do, Forever Ends Today is taking big steps to change the world around them and its imperfection with their lyrics.

Coming out on stage with remarkable energy and flare, Forever Ends Today is comprised of lead singer Jairus Kearsey, lead guitarist Brandon Banton, rhythm guitarist/vocalist David Knox, keyboardist Nick Manwarren, drummer Jack Wilkie and bassist/vocalist Grant Slewitzke.

"All we want and strive for is to somehow, in someway, help someone with what their going through, states bassist Grant Slewitzke.

After releasing their debut EP "Parallels" this last summer and having a great response, Forever Ends Today is looking forward to taking this world by storm.

"We have already been so blessed and fortunate to play with some of our very own favorite bands, and the kids are amazing, says keyboardist Nick Manwarren. "They really push us for better material every time. We're literally forced to strive to be better musicians. It's amazing!"
