Beyond the Automatic Mode with Wayne Richard

This seminar is ideal for the beginning to intermediate photographer who wants to confidently advance the dial beyond the automatic mode to gain more control over their photography.

Trade-offs between aperture priority, shutter priority, manual mode, ISO, and other camera settings will be discussed in the context of the effects they have on the final image. After broad concepts are introduced, participants will have a chance to fine tune their understanding through dynamic discussions of landscape, sports, portrait, low light, and other challenging photographic situations.

Participants should walk away with expanded knowledge of their camera settings, a better understanding of the trade-offs between them, and a higher level of command over their photographic creativity.
