The Artist
The Artist is a 2011 French romance film directed by Michael Hazanavicius, starring Jean Duardin and Bérénice Bejo. The story takes place in Hollywood between 1927 and 1932 and focuses on a declining male star and a rising actress, as a silent cinema grows out of fashion and is replaced by the "talkies". Winner of 5 Oscars, including Best Picture. Nominated for 6 Golden Globes, the most of any film from 2011, and won 3, including Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy, Best Original Score, and Best Actor - Motion Picture Musical or Comedy.

Thursday May 3rd, 2012 at 7pm Besse Center TheaterGeneral Admission. Tickets may be purchased at the Box office or on our website at www.baycollege.edu. Box Office hours are 8:00 – 4:30, Mon - Fri. Box office and doors open at 6:30 pm on night of performance.$5.00 for Regular Admission
$2.00 for Students/Faculty/Staff (if purchased in person at the Box Office with student ID)
