Save yourself the agony! This was without a doubt the worst 'open mic' I've ever been to in my life! And I've been to many, many of them in major cities like Los Angeles, Boston/Cambridge, New York & Philadelphia. The 'host' rambled on & on & on about nonsense, as we waited (freezing outside) while countless amateurs read pseudo-poetry and un-funny 'comedy' from notepads ... all of whom were allowed to violate the '7 minute' restriction. After 2 hours and only 12 'performers' (we were #23 on the sign-in list), bogus host Jason declared that everyone would now be limited to only 1 song ... then brought up about 10 of his friends/roommates who jammed pure cr*p for about 15 minutes. It took 4 hours to get to us ... my singer was shaking from the cold by then. THIS IS THE POOREST EXCUSE FOR AN OPEN MIC I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!! RUN AWAY FROM THIS INSULT TO THE ENTIRE ENTERTAINMENT COMMUNITY!!!!!!!!!
