Description: The El Paso Museum of Art and the El Paso Opera will partner on an exciting outreach program this March. Every Wednesday in March, from noon to 1 p.m., the museum will host free presentations on the “Art of Opera.” The programs will feature live music and visual art, to show audiences the relationship between art and opera throughout the years. Pulling works from the permanent collection, the museum staff will discuss the cultural impact a specific opera form had on contemporary art. Pick up lunch on the way and enjoy this unique and educational lunch break! This series is free and open to the public. Parking is available in the Civic Center parking lot across the street from the El Paso Museum of Art.
