The City of El Paso Department of Public Health, the El Paso Zoo and UTEP’s Women’s Health Initiative invite the public to the Wild about Health kickoff event on Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 11:00am to 2:00pm at the zoo (4001 E. Paisano). The event will feature 14 new signs on permanent display at the zoo that encourage visitors to eat healthy and be physically active. The event also includes a health fair with screenings (blood pressure, glucose, vision, dental, cholesterol, BMI, etc.), informational booths, zumba classes and martial arts demonstrations.
