Description
The primary route, 13 Km, consists of city sidewalks, a paved multi-use trail and unimproved paths along the Elkhart River through Ox Bow County Park. The multi-use path was previously the route of an interurban line between Goshen and Elkhart. The multi-use path is also immediately adjacent to County Road 45, which was the route taken by the Linconln Highway at its inception in 1913. Alternate, shorter routes, 10 and 5 Km, which are centered on the Mall property or Ox Bow County Park, are also available. This event is open Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm and on Sunday from noon to 6 pm (all local times, EST or EDT). Completion of the primary route, 13 Km, is required to qualify for any award or any special event stamps. Information on the shorter routes is available at the Start/Finish Point.
