Guest Tickets
Graduands will receive an invitation to the ceremony and details on arrangements from the Office of the Registrar and Student Awards in late September for Fall Convocation.
Three Guest Tickets are reserved for each graduand who advises us of their intention to attend the ceremony (in addition to their own; total of four).
You may request additional seating, pending availability, at the Jubilee Auditorium prior to the ceremony. We regret that we are unable to accommodate telephone requests for tickets.
As the number of available guest tickets is projected according to past attendance records, the actual number of additional seats available is not known until graduates begin to pick up their tickets. The Registrar&39;s Office therefore reserves the right to change the number of guest tickets as required by graduand attendance.
Extra tickets may become available as graduands take less than their maximum. Any tickets not distributed during the times noted in your information package will be made available at the ticket booth at the Jubilee Auditorium on the day of the ceremony. Note that given the limited seating at the Jubilee Auditorium there is no guarantee that extra tickets will be available.

CONVOCATION CEREMONIES
University of Alberta convocation ceremonies are held in the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium located on 114 Street and 87 Avenue.

Graduands will receive an information brochure with details about the ceremonies and convocation arrangements from the Academic Awards and Ceremonies Office approximately one month before Convocation through regular mail. Each graduand attending the ceremony will have three guest tickets reserved for them (three guest tickets in addition to their own).

Fall Convocation 2008
Fall Convocation 2008 will be held on November 19 and 20. Faculty assignments to these dates are as follows:

Wednesday, November 19 3:00 pm Faculties of: Arts; Engineering; Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences; Nursing; Physical Education and Recreation and Native Studies

Chancellor&39;s Installation

Thursday, November 20 10:00 am Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research (Masters degrees only); School of Public Health and Faculty of Science
3:00 pm Faculties of: Graduate Studies and Research (Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Education and Doctor of Music only); Law; Medicine and Dentistry; Education; Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences; Business; Rehabilitation Medicine; Faculté Saint-Jean; and Augustana.
