    You will need to update the part about traffic and parking not being a problem. For whatever reason, Alpine Valley management has chosen to staff young, inexperienced personnel to "park" cars and control ingress and egress to the venue. on 8/25/07, I was one of thousands who missed at least a half an hour of the headlining band because of the incompetence and lack of training of the personnel. After sitting in our car for the two hours plus that it took to drive three miles, we finally arrived into the lot and found the staff mingling with the fans (their peers) and literally standing there with their hands in their pockets while people filtered in at a snail's pace. We were appalled at the lack of preparation, especially due to the previous nights' debacle, which almost resulted in a riot. After the show, we found the same thing with the so-called employees of Alpine. Standing in pairs, socializing and NOT showing any direction or guidance in moving the traffic to the exits. Pedestrians were not directed to the side, so people were walking in front of cars, drunken kids were acousting us at our window, and the situation was generally a recipe for disaster. There is no excuse for this situation. When music fans spend their hard-earned money to see a band perform, one of the most important considerations should be moving the crowd in and out of the venue, using an established system that all employees are trained to follow. Management of Alpine should be ashamed of themselves for their negligence and lack of preparedness.
