Giants Stadium East Rutherford, NJ, is a multi-purpose stadium located in the Meadowlands Sports Complex. It primarily serves as the home stadium for the New York Giants and New York Jets American football teams of the NFL, and the New York Red Bulls soccer team of MLS. Maximum seating capacity is 78,741, making it the third-largest NFL stadium behind FedEx Field and the brand-new Cowboys Stadium. It is also the ninth-oldest stadium used by an NFL team. Giants Stadium will be closed and demolished in 2010 when the new Meadowlands Stadium opens.

After calling four different stadiums home in their first 50 years in the National Football League, 1976 was the year the Giants moved into Giants Stadium East Rutherford, NJ. The idea of playing at a stadium built in the Meadowlands first attracted the Giants' attention when they realized that they could provide 15,000 more seats and provide the Giants Stadium schedule to the fans without a major switch in location. Giants Stadium is only 6.9 miles from Times Square, compared to Yankee Stadium which is 6.6.

Giants Stadium Parking: Parking for Jets and Giants Parking is not available at Giants Stadium for Giants or Jets games, unless you have a Preferred Parking pass. If you don't have a Preferred Parking Pass, you must use the Satellite Parking Lots, which are located within a few miles of the Stadium.
