      Did you know that the United States is in the midst of a Fourth Industrial Revolution? To meet the challenges of this new and evolving workplace, the World Economic Forum predicts that by the year 2020, soft skills will be among the most sought after skillsets needed by leaders and their teams. Empathy is one of these critical skills and can help enhance leadership capabilities, better connect with teams and others, and improve innovation and performance. Please join us for this interactive half-day workshop to learn how to lead, communicate and perform with empathy to create positive impact at work and in life. Learning Experience led by Joann Farrell Quinn. Joann Farrell Quinn is owner of JFQ Consulting, a specializing in leadership and team development. She has worked with organizations around the world on organizational development initiatives, including assessment, coaching and leadership and team development. Dr. Quinn is also a faculty member the Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida where she is a leadership scholar, providing emotional intelligence and leadership expertise within the unique SELECT MD Program. Dr. Quinn is course director of professional development and research courses and is also a faculty coach for a cohort of medical students. Dr. Quinn also taught the first cohort of the Doctor of Business Administration Program in the Muma College of Medicine and continues to advise doctoral students in the dissertation process. Prior to founding her consulting business and pursuing her PhD, Dr. Quinn worked in capital markets and investment management with experience working for all types of organizations, from small startups to larger foreign, national and international organizations. Dr. Quinn received a PhD from Case Western Reserve University. She also holds a MBA from Syracuse University with a concentration in organization and management and a BA from the University of Rochester. FAQs How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
