The route begins in downtown Lansing & travels past many of the buildings in the State Office Complex (including the restored century-old State Capitol building); through the campus of Lansing Community College; through historic neighborhoods, and along the Grand River Trail. Plan to spend two hours exploring the Michigan Historical Museum (free admission).
