Lifeguarding Course - May | Duxbury, MA 02332
Lifeguarding Course - developed by the American Red Cross to certify people 15 and older in Lifeguard skills, CPR (including AED use), and first aid skills. On the first day of class students will be required to sucessfully swim 300 yards continuously, using front crawl and breaststroke, as well as retrieve a 10lb. brick from a depth of 10 feet of water in order to continue with the course.
This is an 30 hour course that results in lifeguard certification for 3 years and CPR certification for 2 years. To receive certification and pass this class, students must attend all sessions, correctly demonstrate the skills in the required scenarios, and score at least 80% on the written test.
The course requires a minimum of 4 students be enrolled. If less than 4 students
