An Evening of Entertainment at DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center

Cost: Tickets start at $10

The DPS Scholarship Foundation and Durham Public Schools are pleased to present the 2012 annual fundraiser and musical workshop finale, "An Evening of Entertainment", a professionally choreographed musical event featuring hundreds of amazingly talented Durham Public School students from across the district.

DPS students and their teachers have experienced the atmosphere of performing in a world-class venue which has greatly enhanced their musical workshop experience, thanks to the generous support of Duke Energy Foundation and the Durham community. There will be one incredible performance at 7:00 pm.

The performance features auditioned choral students from Durham Public Schools performing a wide genre of music. The show includes both choral and choreographed numbers. This is the 33rd year of this event.

The organizers welcome guest vocal clinician Trey Jacobs from Texas and choreographer Michael Weaver from Chicago who will help prepare students for the fundraiser. This event is designed to showcase the talent that can be found in Durham Public Schools and provide scholarships to DPS seniors.
