Meet the Author: Maria's Bookshop presents Mark Johnson with an insider look into the world of pro cycling
Mark Johnson's book Argyle Armada: Behind the Scenes of the Pro Cycling Life, is a behind the scenes look at Team Garmin, one of the American teams racing in the USA Pro Cycling Challenge, which will start in Durango on August 20th. Johnson will show slides from the year he spent with the team, chronicling the team's most intimate personal dramas and public celebrations. Team founder Jonathan Vautghters and some of the riders will hopefully join us in the shop for the event.
