About the class: HATHA I YOGA incorporates breath work and postures to increase the body's alignment,strength and flexibility. In level I we stretch & strengthen at a gentler pace while building on the foundation and knowledge of Hatha poses. About the teacher: Jodi Christensen RYT 500, Jodi's education in the healing arts began in at the Utah College of Massage Therapy, where she earned certification as a Massage Therapist. She is also a certified practitioner of Reiki and Quantum-Touch. She continued her education in Hatha Yoga of the Himalayan Tradition with Yoga North where she completed their 200 and 500 hour teacher training. Currently Jodi is training to be a Somatics Educator with Somatics Systems Institute through Yoga North.

Jodi says, "Yoga is a practice I find to be profoundly healing of body, mind, and spirit. It brings other healing modalities I've learned into one self-empowering practice that simplifies and encompass the healing potential we all carry within."
