The Tweed Museum of Art is pleased to invite you to a family-friendly event celebrating the first museum publication on the work of Dave Lynas, A Handful of Clay.Dave Lynas is a beloved teacher, skilled potter, draftsman, designer, as well as musician, gardener and avid build-it yourselfer. His creative spirit is a joy to all who meet him. On display will be a featured selection of recently acquired Lynas functional pottery, clay instruments, and pictorial tiles,as well as important selections from the Glenn C. Nelson Ceramics collection. Also on display will be Chinese I-Hsing ceramic teapots, a recent gift to the Tweed donated by Dr. Robert Poor, Professor of Art History, University of Minnesota, and his wife Geraldine Schmitt. Held at Tweed Museum of Art.
