All silent auction proceeds will fund our "Cancer Can't Stop Christmas!" Children's Celebration on Dec. 26th for children battling cancer (and their siblings) as well as children with a parent currently in active treatment or whose parent passed away while in treatment since last year's event. Thanks! COC will again host an event designed to restore hope in the lives of families battling cancer that "Cancer Can't Stop Christmas!" Children's Celebration. The event will take place December 26, 2009 at 5:00 p.m at The Double Tree Hotel in downtown Columbus. In 2008, 54 kids effected by cancer and their families were offered a wonderful holiday meal and gifts. Let's make 2009 an even greater success. Families attending the Dec. 26 event will be served an great dinner and the children will receive "Cancer Can't Stop Christmas!" Wish List presents from Santa and Mrs. Claus. To receive presents all children are 17 and under and are either in active treatment (or are a sibling), have a parent in active treatment or have had a parent pass away in 2009 (or since the last event) while in active treatment.
