This pub is a time capsule of the 19th century, which is not surprising since the pub has been owned and operated by the same family, the Donohoes, since 1888. The high ceilings, massive marble-topped bar and mahogany bar furniture, brass rails, plants and endless mirrors give a sense of opulent ease. The pint pulled here is reputed to be excellent, and the crowd is youngish and fashionable. Live music every Sunday night.
