Description
Following a sell out show at Whelan’s in June pop punk quintet You Me At Six are returning to Dublin for an end of year date at the Academy. The all ages Matinee show will take place on Saturday 6 December. Tickets priced €16.50 incl. booking fee are available at all usual Ticketmaster outlets from Thursday 23 October.
It’s been a hell of a year for Surrey rockers You Me At Six and they have no sign of slowing down. Having finished a 21-date sold out UK tour, they continued their live shows with a set at this year’s Reading and Leeds Festival. This month saw the release of the bands debut album Take Off Your Clothes through Slam Dunk Records.
All of the fan favourites feature on the record including Gossip, Save It For The Bedroom and If I Were In Your Shoes – the first three You Me At Six releases and long-standing tracks on the band’s popular MySpace page. A testament to You Me At Six’s desire to experiment with their music, they thrived upon the challenge to do something different and unexpected. The long player ends with their usual end of set favourite, The Rumour. An epic track, it always leaves their hordes of fans wanting more…
