    I went to see Arlo Guthrie last night and it was the most emotional and amazing concert I have ever been to. The venue is the best I have been at. It’s so small and snug. I have been an Arlo fan since I was 16yrs old – a long time ago - and this was the first time I saw him live. I have all his albums (Vinyl) and also now in CD format. Whenever he was playing here in Ireland I was always away in some other country and always missed him. I was determined not to miss him this time and although I turned up at the door with no ticket, I met a lovely and generous guy who sold me a spare ticket at face value. Anyway this concert will live with me always. Thank you Arlo – my wonderful friend and thank you Whelan’s for a great venue
