Vicar Street - Comedy - Jason Byrne

Following another hugely successful performance at Vicar St in September, and after becoming the highest selling comic at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival ever, Jason is back on top form for Vicar St for his Christmas show this December 19th.  

His TV work has included “Anonymous”, ‘The Jason Byrne Show’ (RTE), ‘Rum’ (Hat Trick /SKY), ‘Elvis Has Left The Building’ (BBC NI), ‘Out On A Limb’ (BBC3), ‘Jason Byrne is Twiggy No Branch’ (Channel 4), ‘Dark Ages’ (ITV), ‘Stuck In The Middle’ (BBC), ‘Father Ted’ (Channel 4), ‘Stop The World’ (BBC) and ‘Lenny Henry in Pieces’ (main writer, BBC).  Jason has made two shows for Radio 4 – ‘Jason Byrne, A New Ear for a New Year’ & ‘The O Show’. He has also appeared in several films including ‘Alice in Wonderland’ alongside Whoopi Goldberg, Martin Short and Gene Wilder and ‘The General’ which won a Golden Globe and featured Brendan Gleeson and Jon Voight amongst others and was directed by John Boorman (Deliverence).

In Edinburgh last year he hosted The Times on-line daily podcast which reached No 3. in the UK charts just behind Ricky Gervais and Russell Brand.
