Rod Stewart
Rod Stewart (born January 10, 1945), is a singer and songwriter born and raised in London, England, with Scottish and English parentage. With a distinctive, raspy voice, Stewart came to prominence in the late 1960s and early '70s with The Jeff Beck Group and then The Faces and began a solo career in 1969, with his debut album An Old Raincoat Won't Ever Let You Down. With his career in its fifth decade, Stewart has achieved numerous hit singles worldwide, most notably in the UK, where he has achieved six consecutive number one albums and his tally of 62 hit singles includes 24 that went Top 10, of which six went to number one. The RDS International Convention and Exhibition Centre is Ireland’s premier venue for meetings, conferences, exhibitions, trade and public shows, entertainment and sporting events.Located minutes from Dublin City Centre and surrounded by top hotels, the RDS offers a 42 acre complex with over 20,000 square metres of versatile space. There is onsite parking for over 2,000 cars and numerous restaurants and bars. The nearby suburban train line (DART) plus the main bus routes on the doorstep offer excellent public access.
