Description
The Autumn exhibition from Early Printed Books will explore the delights of gardens and botany. The Library has an exceptionally rich collection of botanical, agricultural and gardening books. This exhibition will explore several aspects of the history and development of Irish gardens and the Irish contribution to international botanical scholarship.
Opening Times
Monday - Saturday 09.30 - 17.00
Sunday (May - Sept.) 09.30 - 16.30
Sunday (Oct. - April) 12.00 - 16.30
The Old Library and The Book of Kells exhibition will open from 12 noon - 4.30pm on the October Bank Holiday - Monday 27th October 2008.
Christmas arrangements 2008:
The Old Library & Book of Kells exhibition will close on Tuesday 23rd December 2008 at 5pm and will re-open again on Friday 2nd January 2009 at 9.30am.
Admission Prices
Adults: Euro 8.00
Students/Senior Citizens: Euro 7.00
Family ticket: Euro 16.00 (2 adults plus up to 4 children)
Group Rate (10+): Euro 6.00
School groups free admission from 1st October to 1st April only.
Outside of this period school groups pay the group rate of Euro 6.00 per person with teachers free.
Children (under 12): Free all year around.
This means that primary schools have free admission all the year around.
