Description
Second Age returns to the Helix with the Merchant of Venice. Under the direction of Alan Stanford, Second Age productions have become synonymous with large scale Classics produced to a world class standard. The Merchant of Venice features Shylock one of Shakespeare’s most intriguing and complex of characters. A man who seems, at the same time to be both hero and villain. The play is a debate on Justice; in fact the nature of mercy, as described by Portia, has become a part of our very understanding of the word.

Matinées each weekday from Thurs 6 – Fri 21 November @ 1pm
Evening performances each Tues, Thurs and Fri @ 8pm
All matinées €18, Evening performances €25 / Conc. €22
Evening shows open to public.
