Description
Enjoy the ultimate winter experience at Christmas on Ice with hourly Snow Falls, Skating Santa and the magic of Christmas. Chase the chill away with a delicious Hot Chocolate, Gourmet Coffee or tempting snack from the ever popular Chocolate Fountain.
The event is now in its 6th year at the RDS and looking forward to the 2nd year at Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, giving visitors the opportunity to shop AND skate.
Heralded by the likes of The Late Late Show, Gerry Ryan and TV3 as Dublin's must-do festive activity, 7UP Christmas on Ice is gearing up for yet another successful Christmas on the ice.
The event will run from 14th November 2008 until 11th January 2009 at the RDS and until 4th January at Liffey Valley, with almost 2,000 square metres of ice to enjoy, it's suitable for everyone. 7UP Chistmas on Ice will provide, as always, the very best quality ice-skating experience for our visitors- totally covered to protect you from the winter elements, with beginner and kiddie rinks for those of you taking your first shaky steps on the ice. All the old classics will return this year, with Decks on Ice, Skate Date, Birthday Parties and some new surprises for you to sit back and enjoy- or get stuck in and get on the ice!
Ice Skating
• Fully covered main, beginner and kiddies ice rink and viewing areas
• Sessions last one hour and include skate hire
• Ice Marshals on hand to help and guide you through the session
• Fun for all skating talents and ages
Skate Camp 30th Dec 2008 – 2nd Jan 2009
Gets the children out of the house and onto the ice with this 5 day skate camp catering for ages 8 – 15 years. We provide expert tuition and lots of fun before the return to school.
Open to skaters of any standard
Birthday Party Packages
Entertain on Ice and let our Birthday hostesses look after your guests. All you need to do is bring the cake and we’ll do the rest! Available for Groups of 10 or more between November and January at the RDS only. Groups are welcome at Liffey Valley, but catering facilities are not provided at the ice-rink.
Skating Santa will return once again for a swirl on the ice every weekend at the RDS and Liffey Valley. No queues, no fee, and no booking required!
