      Pushing the Limits: Weather & Climate

      Pushing the Limits: Weather & Climate is a free library hosted reading, viewing and discussion program for adults facilitated by Mark Wysocki, Director of Undergraduate Studies in Atmospheric Science and State Climatologist for New York State. Each month focuses on a different aspect of climate resiliency and impact with a book discussion, human interest video and conversation.
      August 10 - 7 pm: Introduction: What is Climate Anyway?

      BOOK DISCUSSION ON “ Weather Makers” by Tim Flannery

      October 12 • 7 pm: Focus on Community
      BOOK DISCUSSION ON “Isaac’s Storm” by Erik Larson

      November 9 • 7 pm: Focus on Strategy
      BOOK DISCUSSION ON “Heat” by Bill Streever

      Books will be distributed at the introductory meeting for the various programs. Participants are encouraged to participate in all of the sessions but are welcome to come to any or all.
