Movie: Frenzy

A serial killer named the Necktie Murderer is loose in London - a man who strangles his female victims with a tie. After the latest necktie murder, evidence points to Dick Blaney as the killer. A former RAF pilot, Blaney is recently down on his luck, having lost his job with no money to his name. When a description of him as the Necktie Murderer hits the newspapers, Blaney decides to go on the run as he is the only suspect. Reading about the police's suspicions, the real Necktie Murderer kills again to implicate Blaney further. When Blaney discovers who he thinks is the real murderer, he tries to exact his own vigilante justice. Meanwhile, Chief Inspector Oxford, the lead investigator in the case, has more problems beyond trying to find Blaney, these problems being of a gastronomic kind at home.
