Dare to Enter the Corn Maze......will you be able to find your way out before the night is over???? The Corn Maze at Sherman Farms is open on weekends for daylight exploration. But on October 24th they also have a night time option which is haunted !!! We are doing this event during the evening time slots so we can enjoy being frightened by the various haunts, ghosts and goblins they have planned. http://www.shermanfarmnh.com/images/gallery/1245089166.jpg Sherman Farms has a concession stand with burgers and fries. They also have a nice farmstand with gourmet foods, burgers, hot cider donuts, pick your own pumpkins and home baked goods like Whoopie Pies and Smiling Hill Farm brand ice cream (a small local creamery that makes their ice cream with milk from the Sherman Farms). Did I mention that Sherman Farms has Whoopie Pies??? In case you missed that.....they have Whoopie Pies !! If you want to partake in their concession stand and farm stand, you need to arrive early because the concession stand at Sherman Farms (if people are hungry) is only open until 5 pm. Their farmstand is open until 6 pm. If you are skipping the concessions and farm stand, then refer to the times noted for the carpooling and actual event meetup time. Here is a link to the farm for this event: Sherman Farms This will be a kid friendly event. But no pets please. The time frame for the evening Haunted Maze is 7 pm to 10 pm. I am thinking that if we do the Sherman Farms haunted maze, we should get there no later than 6:30 pm so we can all congregate and go through the maze together at 7 pm. http://photos4.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/7/5/4/a/highres_11250026.jpeg But if you are interested in experiencing other parts of the farm, plan on going earlier since the concession stand and farm stand close earlier. Carpooling Options: Exit 2 off 93N (Salem): 3:30 pm Exit 14 off 93 N (LL Beans/Hannafords): 4:00 pm The cost for the haunted mazes at Sherman Farms is $12. It is a larger, more sophisticated maze than some of the other places, and well worth the trip. After figuring our way out of the maze...we can head over to North Conway if anyone is interested in getting food and drink. Any questions.......just send me an email.
