Known for his multi-instrumental, voice, and production skills, Jef has accompanied,many artists including Lesley Gore, Lou Christie, The Crystals, Martha Reeves, Danny and the Juniors, The Coasters, Little Eva, Freddy "Boom-Boom" Cannon, Archie Bell, Fabian, Billy J. Kramer, The Tokens, Alex Chilton and Wolfman Jack and his Midnight Special Rock and Roll Revival Road Show. He is currently a part of the Neo-Depression Jazz music revival of Detroit.
