In celebration of Glass' 75th birthday this month, some of central ...Read More Philip Glass is one of the most influential composers of the late 20th Century. In celebration of Glass' 75th birthday this month, some of central Iowa's finest musicians are coming together to perform an evening of Glass' compositions. The Belin Quartet, Jonathan Sturm, Nicholas Roth & others will perform works from Einstein on the Beach, Akhnaten, Orphee, String Quartet No.5, as well as a variety of solo pieces. This event will take place on Feb. 17 at Sheslow Auditorium at Drake University.
