Buell Theatre

The Denver Performing Arts Complex contains three fine venues, but the only place in the complex to find touring productions of hit Broadway plays is the Buell Theatre. Nearly every month, the Buell Theatre schedules some of the most entertaining and acclaimed productions that Broadway has to offer, like Les Miserables, Disney's The Lion King, and Hair. And every month, audiences buy tickets for these fantastic shows and to enjoy the comfort and luxury that the Buell Theatre provides.

With a seating capacity of 2,884, the Buell Theatre is the premier theater in Denver. Its large and modern design combines the classic elegance of a Broadway theater with the edge of modern design. The Buell Theatre's large, dome-like ceiling was created for superior acoustical enjoyment and combines with other features to provide near perfect sound for both musicals and plays. The theater has hosted over 300 touring Broadway productions in the last 30 years, including Les Miserables, Hair, and the first stop on the first national tour for Disney's The Lion King.
