About the class: Vinyasa is a style of yoga that focuses on linking breath with movement and flowing from one posture to the next. Therefore, it is a flow type of yoga with few breaks, and definitely a bit sweaty. You will learn to perform a series of strengthening and balancing postures for the entire body, and have the opportunity to push yourself to your own level. Because of its continuity and variety, Vinyasa yoga raises performance, flexibility, balance and focus. Well, that's yoga for me. Discovering yoga was a huge gift: healing chronic pain, centering me, energizing my body. While I practiced for ten years before I felt ready for teacher training, I knew early on I wanted to share the love. My teaching is reflective of my gurus. Classes are a mix of Forrest and Power with Anusara alignment (if you can imagine that!). Expect juicy flows, thoughtful sequencing and often a touch of cowgirl music, as we tap into life's force - exploring strength and conviction, learning the abundance of our capabilities - with a few laughs in between.
