Got a great idea for a movie? Fantastic!

Now what? No, really. Now what?

Writing a great script takes more than downloading some screenwiritng software and reading a few books. It takes a lot of knowledge and even more hard work. The Sunday Morning Screenwriting Workshop can't help you work harder, but it can help you to understand the essential elements in a screenplay and how to implement them.

The workshop is part instruction and part feedback on each student's current project. Whether you're hoping to one day sell a script or plan on shooting your indie masterpiece yourself, it all comes down to having a great script.

Workshops are ongoing and are held through The Emerging Filmmakers Project (EFP) at Denver's historic Bug Theatre (3654 Navajo St., Denver, CO 80232).

Costs is $90 for four consecutive weeks or $30 per workshop. Class size is limited to six students (we currently have two open spots).

Class is taught by local filmmaker Patrick Sheridan. A graduate of the Vancouver Film School's Writing Program, Patrick has writtne over 20 produced short films, as well as the soon-to-be-released feature, Jimmy Said. He has optioned several feature length scrrenplays to out-of-town producers and is pre-production on his next feature, Stalled.

For more information, please call Patrick at 720-276-9922.
