DAY 1 3 HOUR CLASSROOM SESSION Learn about equipment, species, fish habits, ice safety, and more. Tightline Outdoors will provide all equipment and teaching aids in the classroom – Classroom Sessions will be held at Bass Pro Shops 7970 Northfield Boulevard, Denver.

DAY 2 4 HOUR TRAINING ON THE ICE Tightline Outdoors will provide all necessary fishing equipment on the ice for the infield class. Students are required to sign a waiver and provide warm clothing, boots, and transportation.

Additional Information: Our beginner classes are designed to take anyone willing to learn and teach them the in’s and out’s of Ice Fishing. We get hands-on and show all of the latest and greatest state of the art equipment.

Our species specific class is set up to teach you everything about that species and how to have successful days on the ice catching that fish. You will learn everything that goes into an ice trip from planning before you go all the way up through landing that fish. Just like the beginner class all the latest and greatest equipment will be provided for each student to use.
WHEN DONE YOU WILL BE MORE CONFIDENT AND A FAR MORE EXPERIENCED ICE ANGLER AND WILL FIND YOURSELF HAVING MORE SUCCESSFUL DAYS ON THE ICE ALL FOR JUST $150.
-3 hour classroom session teaches you the following:
-Habits of a specific species
-Lakes and habitat of the specific species
-Talk about the magic 3 W’s that put you in the perfect situation
-Map and GPS
-Migration of fish and why they move
-Equipment (rods, reels, line, shelters, flashers, etc)
-Tackle
-Conditions
-Ice Safety
-4 hour Ice session
Hands on Guide style trip on the ice where you can see what you’ve learned in action. You also get to test and try the latest in ice fishing equipment. All fishing equipment will be provided. Each angler only needs to bring a valid fishing license, appropriate clothing (layers, boots, hats, gloves, and water proof outer layer if possible), and food or drink if needed. No alcohol please.

Bio
Nathan is a Professional Walleye Angler and all species guide in Colorado. Spends about 300+ days on the water, of that about 80 are on the ice.
During my tournament career Nathan has fished all over the country as well as lived and guided in Minnesota.
Nate hosts Rocky Mountain videos for the World Fishing Network HD that includes pro tips and how-to techniques. He is also a regional expert posting blogs and tips on worldfishingnetwork.com. and writes for both FishExplorer.com and ColoradoFisherman.com.
