As part of our winter celebrations The Mercury Café (2199 California St., Denver) hosts a five course organic, local food and wine pairing dinner on Friday, December 18 at 7:30 p.m. Local Color provides musical accompaniment on piano and cello.

Elk, Fish, Pork, Vegan or Vegetarian dishes are paired appropriately with offerings from Jack Rabbit Hill Winery and Peak Spirits Brandy of Grand Mesa. Marilyn Megenity will present origin information with each course.

The Mercury is proud of its long standing relationships with Colorado’s organic farmers and ranchers, organic Colorado trout and striped bass along with a broad selection of vegetarian and gluten-free dishes. All the breads and pastries served at the Merc are made using whole grains, natural sweeteners and cold pressed oils. The cost is $45.00 per person (tax, gratuity not included).
