Bring out your inner composer or rock star! This class uses GarageBand to walk students through the basics of creating audio for a wide range of projects!
Making Music with GarageBand introduces students to the world of making music and podcasts. The software is very accessible, and students can quickly be recording and enhancing audio tracks, edit and playback tracks, and even offers music lessons through the lesson store. GarageBand comes free with most Apple computers, and can be cheaply downloaded on PC's. Students are required to have basic computer literacy in order to take this class. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to create audio for your film or videos, edit existing audio tracks, or record podcasts. Open Media Foundation has partnered with local musicians in Flobots.org to offer this course!
