Huge Comedy Show w/ Ron Funches, Adam Cayton-Holland, Wheelchair Sports Camp, Chris Charpentier & more! at Oriental Theater

The latest installment of the Huge Comedy Show headlines Portland-based comic Ron Funches -who is coming off his highly entertaining “Conan” appearance in August. It was reported by the Portland Mercury that Ron’s “Conan” appearance “had so many elongated laugh breaks in his set that what was supposed to be about four minutes ran over six-and-a-half. After the show the producer told Ron that Conan loved the set so much he called for it to run un-cut”.

This months Huge Comedy Show will also feature a performance by the up and coming hip-hop act Wheelchair Sports Camp. WSC was recently featured by New York weekly The Village Voice who wrote; “Kalyn Heffernan is 24 years old, weighs 53 pounds, and measures three feet, six inches tall. She’s light enough to carry, compact enough to hide under a winter coat, and is sometimes mistaken for a child. But Kalyn, who has the brittle-bone disability osteogenesis imperfecta, is hardly innocent, precious, or inconspicuous: The Colorado native dabbles in graffiti, cusses gloriously, and has a septum piercing…” – Click here for full story

The Huge Comedy Show has enjoyed a wildly successful first year here at The Oriental Theater, bringing in cutting edge comedians from all over the country, and this months show promises to be one of the best yet!
