Newman Center for the Performing Arts

International Youth Ballet presents the classic The Sleeping Beauty with beautiful sets and costumes along with talented young dancers augmented by six professional dancer artists insuring a family treat!

If you have seen our past productions of Peter Pan, A Midsummer Night's Dream, or Cinderella you know the quality and entertainment value of International Youth Ballet productions are very high. Talented award winning dancers together with guest artists of international caliber with professional sets and costumes and award winning choregography combine to make the magic of this fairy tale come alive.

Pointe Magazine (a national dance magazine) included our partner school the International Ballet School as being one of seven outstanding schools in the country, "Cultivating top talent." With many alumni dancing professionally, competing in worldwide competitions and accepting scholarships to the best schools, we are proud to offer these performances that prepare them for a career while entertaining the public.

Purchase tickets in person at the Newman Center Box Office (2344 East Iliff Ave, SW corner of University & Iliff), open 10am - 4pm, Mon - Fri (Year 'Round) and 12pm to 4pm, Sat (Sept-May ONLY).

Parking
Parking is $8 per car - cash only.

Event Parking is available at the Newman Center Parking Garage - located one block south of Iliff on Wesley between S. University and S. York.
