Capitol Hill People’s Fair to Host Food Drive Along with FightWithFood.org and Local Musician

Denver, Colo. – May 28, 2009 – Capitol Hill United Neighborhoods, Inc. (CHUN) announces that the 38th Annual People’s Fair (Civic Center Park, June 6 & 7) will host a canned/non-perishable food drive organized by FightWithFood.org and local musicians, with collection areas located at two entrances of the People’s Fair. Donations will be accepted at 13th and Bannock and Colfax and Lincoln, with a third possible location at the entrance on 14th, between the Denver Art Museum and the Denver Public Library.

The People’s Fair and FightWithFood.org asks interested People’s Fair attendees to bring five items of non-perishable/canned food to the donation stations and receive your copy of the FightWithFood.org 2009 poster. Donation stations will be staffed with some of Denver’s hottest musicians such as Johnny 5 of the Flobots, Umconscious, Rob Drabkin, and many more!
