Why does acting in movies and TV look so easy? Because it is!

Acting for the Camera is an advanced film acting class for actors who are ready to abandon technique and method and ready to trust that being and not acting is the surest way to have great moments in front of the camera. 

Acting for the Camera is about connecting to your scene partner, surrendering to your environment, allowing the words to speak for themselves, trusting that the actor doesn’t have to do most of the work in film (the other cinematic elements like lighting, composition, editing and music do most of the heavy lifting). All of this to accomplish one simple goal: listen to your scene partner.  Lots of on-camera work. 10 student limit.

Monday Nights: 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. (ongoing)

NOTE: Important information about our pricing policy: Prices for these awesome classes are kept low to make it affordable to actors. Each class has an enrollment limit. You are paying for a spot in a particular class. You can cancel and get a full refund if you cancel within one week of the start of class so we have time to fill your vacated spot. If you miss a class, you do no get a refund or a credit for the next round of classes. You can make up a missed class by attending a different class or workshop. I prefer payment through eventrbite.com or PayPal. Cash works, of course. I accept checks, but there is a $35 fee for any returned check.  Credit cards are accepted on site, as well.
