2010 EWB-USA International Conference - Engineers Without Borders

Engineers Without Borders USA is a national, non-profit organization with a membership of over 8,000 students and professionals engaged in over 250 development projects worldwide. The EWB-USA mission, to partner with developing communities around the world to improve their quality of life and to provide training and experience to students and professionals, continues to inspire and engage people both within and outside the engineering field. With membership and chapter formation growing by leaps and bounds, EWB-USA welcomes the interest and support of corporations, foundations, and professional associations that share our goals.

The Conference brings together members, interested professionals, representatives from businesses, corporations and foundations, internationally renowned speakers, and specialists in fields including engineering, sustainable development, public health, international studies, and many others. This energetic and multidisciplinary group gathers for three days to learn, question, debate, generate ideas, discuss possibilities, and see firsthand what is being done and what remains to be done in the developing world and here at home. Through speakers, panel discussions, and breakout sessions, as well as an opening night reception and final banquet, participants network with others and establish connections that last long after the event is concluded. The EWB-USA Annual International Conference also allows engineering and other firms to introduce themselves to our membership by sponsoring one or more events.
