Venue details: Translations Gallery in Denver metro area
Description
Translations Gallery is an art gallery that is serving as a multitextural venue for both established and emerging artists. The gallery is an ambassador furthering the advancement of textile and fiber art forms on local, national, and international levels. Also, Translations Gallery is recognized as a destination for enthusiasts of these more contemporary art mediums.
The gallery is one of only a few art galleries nationwide dedicated to textile art and features the work of well-known textile artists on a rotating basis in the main gallery as well as the work of emerging and established fiber artists in the smaller Statement Gallery.
Judy Hagler, Translations Gallerys owner and a textile artist herself, is excited to present contemporary work in a vibrant artistic venue; she recognizes the need for a gallery dedicated to this emerging art form and her goal is to promote and advance the textile arts in the thriving Art District on Santa Fe.
