Let's have a pre-Thanksgiving family outing at White Fence Farms! White Fence serves the "best fried chicken in Denver", according to Westword, plus lots of other home-style fixings at an affordable price. This family-oriented Lakewood destination is more than a restaurant, also featuring a petting zoo, old-fashioned general store and gift shop, large playground area, duck pond, indoor "pig shute" slide for kids, and Granny's sweet shop/soda fountain. Kids of all ages have a wonderful time at White Fence! For more info, go to the White Fence Farms website. Bring the entire family, including dads and older kids. Keep your fingers crossed that the weather will allow us to have some outside play-time! Be sure to bring your camera, as cute photo-ops abound. If there are 15 or more of us coming, I can make a reservation for a large table/area of our own. Please RSVP for yourself plus the number of your family that will be attending.
